On October 25, 2019 at 15.00 in the premises of Bila Tserkva City Council the City Forum of ECO transformation "YOUTH IN ACTION" took place. The event is organized by the Department of Education and Science of Bila Tserkva City Council and the Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity of Bila Tserkva City Council. More than 200 participants of the Forum are students of general secondary schools and pupils of out-of-school education who are actively working on the implementation of environmental projects. The forum was opened by the deputyKateryna Lytvynenko, mayor of Bila Tserkva.
"A second life can be for raw materials, but not for the younger generation!" - this is the motto of today's youth who look to a happy future. Under this motto, fashion fashion debutants demonstrated style, beauty, secrets, creative solutions, and most importantly - presented "Second Life". Through the display of eco-clothing, participants seek to draw attention to the problem of today: sorting and recycling. It is worth noting that the talented designers, creating masterpieces, used plastic, a little glass and metal, polyethylene, paper cups and a little waste paper.
The program of the forum was attended by both children and honorary speakers: Ksenia Renchkovska, head of the International Youth Movement "School recycling world" in Ukraine opened the topic "Eco patrol School Recycling - agents of driving, effective action in the implementation of proper waste management systems"; Kyrylo Tomlyak, the head of the mobile application and the school competition "Climate Drops", introduced the innovations to consolidate behavioral changes in terms of environmental protection; An important and meaningful topic was the speech of Irina Vakurova, Chairman of the Board of PJSC "KATP-1028" - "Garbage disposal. Degassing of the solid waste landfill in Bila Tserkva "; presentation of the project "Management of greenery" electronic open data system "SMART GREEN BC" Alyona Kolotnytska, head of landscaping and ecology of the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the BIS became interesting and instructive for conscious citizens of the city. And about the excellent results of the seven-day eco-marathon "Be eco with us", Maria Yakovenko, a student of secondary school I-III degrees №20, told the participants.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the best, creative, agile, active participants of the City Forum of ECOtransformation "YOUTH IN ACTION" was held by Yuriy Fyodorovych Petryk, Head of the Department of Education and Science of Bila Tserkva City Council, Larysa Oleksiivna Shcherban, Head of the Department of Extracurricular Education and Center for Ecological and Naturalistic Creativity.
