World without waste will be better!

On December 3, 2019, Lana Kaufman's personal exhibition "Contrasts" was opened at the Taras Shevchenko Museum in the capital.

The exhibition is dedicated to the problems of ecology. How to save the planet from the dominance of garbage is the theme of most of the paintings on display. Seeing these works, you are even more inspired and realize that - "The world without garbage will be better."

Yulia Markhel, the founder of the International Youth Movement School Recycling World, made a welcoming speech as a guest of honor. At the beginning of the speech, all distinguished guests were invited to watch a video of the address of Ukrainian schoolchildren: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TswiIN8jNaU, called to be conscious, Eco responsible citizens today and to become a driving force for the formation of environmental culture and relevant skills.

Afterwards, the children of the master herself addressed with a touching appeal, urging them to use reusable bags and save the world from plastic together.

In addition to the artist's works, an interesting exhibit was "Eco Ball" - made from recycled materials and is a clear example of the fight against plastic.

Maxim Pustozvonov, captain of Kyiv-Basket: - last season the United League VTB announced the collection of plastic bottles in all arenas, then they were recycled and the output came out such eco-balls. I suggested to Lana - it would be great to put it on your show. After all, half of it is devoted to how to prevent the impact of garbage on the planet. We beat the Dragons with this ball, I agreed with the team that they would give it to me. So he decorated the exhibition. An eco-ball with its eco-pictures complement each other as we complement each other in life. I think the time will come and we in Ukraine will also collect plastic bottles in the arenas and process them into balls. They meet all FIBA standards. We create on the playground, Lana creates on canvases. When we discussed the opening day of the exhibition, she really wanted to see me and the team at the presentation. That is why the exhibition started on November 26, and the presentation took place only today (it will last until December 8). It's very cool to attend such an event after a crazy week away from home, when we spent a series of tense outings in turbo mode. So, it is very cool for the whole team to go to such an exhibition - it has a good effect on the team spirit.

Thank you for your indifference to the environment, because the overall result depends on each of us.
