On November 5, students from 44 educational institutions in 20 regions of Ukraine became the real motivators of environmental change. "This time we decided not to buy gifts in advance, because we wanted to buy what a particular school needs. Therefore, the winners of the competition received certificates in the amount of one thousand to 5 thousand hryvnias. Under the conditions, with these funds they can choose anything that will benefit their school. Thus, participants can not only contribute to the formation of environmental culture and consciousness in Ukraine, but also their activities to benefit their school. ", - comments Ksenia Renchkovska, head of the International Youth Movement "School Recycling World" in Ukraine.

Participants were offered three topics for consideration: waste sorting as a resource, the value of responsible consumption and the Zero Waste movement (life with minimal waste production).

“Determining the winners was quite difficult, because each work is unique and worthy of attention. We enjoyed watching every video, poster and board. Therefore, a joint decision was made to leave a link to the works on the page of our site, so that everyone could be charged with determination to ecodiums. I want to thank every active student for the initiative and work on its creative implementation ", - adds Julia Markhel, founder of the International Youth Movement "School Recycling World".

The main organizer of the festival is the International Youth Movement "School Recycling World" with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center and the support of a general partner - PepsiCo Ukraine, which helps develop a culture of conscious waste management.
